The radio and television journalist Steve Powers from New York City went on for many years to anchor his own morning drive-time news/talk show. Later to become a correspondent at on ABC radio network news. He served as a college professor in the field of media communications and periodically taught as an adjunct professor at the Columbia School of Journalism, The New School, and New York University. He also became an Associate Professor at St. John’s University teaching journalism and media.
