Since 1992, when the Austrian group Arthada & Friends was founded, the ensemble has been regularly giving concerts in 18 European countries, performed in various countries in Asia, South America, the Carribbean, the former Soviet Union and America. The group has 13 male members from Vienna, Linz, Innsbruck and Heidelberg. They play on eastern and western instruments and exclusively perform spiritual songs or mantras that were composed in a meditative state of mind. Most songs are arrangements based on the songs of the spiritual Maestro Sri Chinmoy. The music of Arthada & Friends is well suited for relaxation or meditation. Their music has been aired by various European radio stations and they have produced 7 albums.
