An album featuring seven organ performances by Sri Chinmoy from France, Italy and Great Britain. These performances were at some of the most famous locations in Europe, including the organ at St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, and the Basilica of St. Dennis, in Paris.

Sri Chinmoy plays many instruments, but has said that the organ is the queen of instruments. The organ offers ample resource for musical expression, and Sri Chinmoy takes full advantage of this. He literally creates musical universes out there. When I listen to his performances, I invariably feel that I am moving in space, passing galaxies at a fast rate. Perhaps this poetic metaphor is caused by the expansiveness and free imagination which I perceive in Sri Chinmoy’s organ music. The variations in texture are nothing short of spectacular; from a strong, rich texture full of deep, rumbling sounds, to a sublime, ethereal play in the high registers, Sri Chinmoy’s organ music will inspire, energize, open the imagination.
