My Heart-Boat Sails is a recording of Sri Chinmoy’s 27th esraj Anniversary, recorded on February 17th, 2001 at PS 86, New York. Sri Chinmoy began playing the esraj on February 19th, 1974.

The esraj is one of Sri Chinmoy‘s favourite instruments. The esraj has a very poetic, subtle and lyrical quality. The purity of a single melody ascending is unequalled.

We are grateful to Sri Chinmoy for this illumining and inspiring offering.
