Throughout his life, Sri Chinmoy strived to serve the aspiring heart of mankind; to inspire people of all walks of life in their inner and outer life, to transcend perceived limitations and reach for ever-new goals, new heights.

America welcomed Sri Chinmoy with open arms, and his gratitude to America is beyond words. Those of us who have had the good fortune of studying under his guidance are grateful to this great country that gave Sri Chinmoy the opportunity to start his life of dedicated service to humanity.
