‘Nirvana’ – Arthada & Friends

Last modified October 21, 2016

‘Nivana’ is the third album recorded by the Austrian group ‘Arthada & Friends’ in 2005.  The following year, the group made a tour entitled ‘Nirvana’ to the Balkans in which they played these songs in Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria and Macedonia.

The talented musicians play a combination of Eastern and Western instruments, whilst performing these songs of Sri Chinmoy. The essence of Sri Chinmoy’s music is to offer a spiritual / meditative experience.

Several of the songs on this album begin ‘He Param Pita’. Sri Chinmoy composed many devotional ‘He Param Pita’ songs. An English translation is ‘O My Father Supreme’  – songs dedicated to the Heavenly Father.

The illumination of Father-Heaven
Teaches me how
To embody peace.
