Sangit Surabhi – Christmas songs

Sangit Surabhi are a group of Canadian female singers who perform the music of Sri Chinmoy. During a recent Christmas vacation, they performed some charming and soulful songs related to Christmas.

We wish you a Merry Christmas

The songs included Jishu Kristo – the translation of Jesus Christ in Sri Chinmoy’s Bengali mother tongue – and the New Testament utterance “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending” set to music by Sri Chinmoy. The group also performed a nice rendition of the favourite Christmas carol ‘O Holy Night’.
