Sri Chimnoy’s Birthday Performances 2024, Part I

Dear listeners, this is Part I of selected performances by Sri Chinmoy students from August 27, 2024 – Sri Chinmoy’s Birthday. It includes a performance by Kailash’s group – an all-male acapella group who have a project to sing all of Sri Chinmoy’s 23,000+ songs before his 100th birthday in 2031.

Sri Chinmoy students travelled from all over the world to celebrate Sri Chinmoy’s Birthday (August 27, 1931). In these Celebrations, we have collective meditations, sport events and a public concert. There is an atmosphere of joy and oneness.

Many Sri Chinmoy meditation centres have music groups which interpret Sri Chinmoy’s songs. Sri Chinmoy composed more than 23,000 songs in his lifetime. Music is one of the ways in which we can share with the world at large the fruits of our prayer and meditation; the joy peace and delight felt in our inward journey.

We hope you enjoy these soulful offerings as much as we do.
